2003 J. Rochioli Little Hill Russian River Valley Pinot Noir

14.2% alc.. · Moderately light reddish-purple color in the glass. Attractive perfume of cherries and berries with hints of oats, raisin, and coconut. Modestly intense core of black raspberry, blackberry and black cherry fruit with a tarry, earthy bent. Fruit is on the riper side. Well-proportioned tannic backbone, smoothly textured, ending with a little heat. Drink up. Good. Reviewed October 4, 2011
