2009 J Vineyards & Winery Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir
14.3% alc., $50. Aged 11 months in French oak
barrels and lightly fined before bottling.
·
Medium reddish-purple hue in the glass. Brooding aromas of black
fruit leather, black raspberries, violets, oak and spice. Tasty core of moderately rich black raspberry and
blackberry fruit with hints of black tea and cola. Soft in the mouth, with firm, dry tannins. Drinking perfectly
now. Very good.
