2010 Kosta Browne Garys’ Vineyard Santa Lucia Highlands Pinot Noir 14.7% alc., 404 cases, $78. · Moderately dark reddish-purple color in the glass. Aromas of brambly dark red and black berries, forest floor and spice. Appealing dark berry and spiced plum flavors robed in supple tannins, finishing with very impressive staying power and a little warmth. Not as expressive as it will be and needs more time in the cellar. Very good. Reviewed July 23, 2012
