2010 Kosta Browne One Sixteen Russian River Valley Chardonnay 512 cases, $58. · Light straw color in the glass. Aromas of apple and lemon with a hint of diacetyl. Flavorful, crisp and dry, featuring notes of pear, golden apple and crusty bread, finishing with subtle tannins and moderate fruit intensity. Not imposing and overtly fruity as many Russian River Valley Chardonnays, offering a pleasing but not extraordinary drinking experience. Good (+). Reviewed July 23, 2012
