2010 Pali Wine Co. Shea Vineyard Willamette Valley Pinot Noir

13.6% alc., 140 cases, $50, screw cap. Clones 114, 777 and Pommard. Aged 15 months in 50% new French oak. · Moderately light reddish-purple color in the glass. Very nicely perfumed with bright aromas of red cherries and raspberries with a hint of sandalwood. On the lighter side, even a bit shallow on the attack, with red cherry and berry flavors lifted by bright acidity. The tannins tend to outweigh the fruit at present. Good. Reviewed July 23, 2012
