1983 The Eyrie Vineyards South Block Reserve Pinot Noir

Light rose color in the glass. Vibrant aromas of cherries, rose petals, fennel and leather glove. Very expressive nose for such an old wine. Aged flavors of brandied cherries, spice, and tea, finishing with a subtle herbal note. Impressive longevity. Reviewed September 12, 2012
