The nose is closed for business, only hinting at aromas of cherries and oak. Essence of dark red berries and cherries with complimentary oak in the background. Smooth, with a good cut of acidity on the finish which has some length. About the same the following day from a previously opened and re-corked bottle. This wine is still tight and should benefit from cellaring. Fine but not exceptional. Good. Reviewed November 24, 2012
