2013 CrossBarn by Paul Hobbs Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir

14.1% alc., $35, screwcap. · Moderately light reddish purple color in the glass. Shy fruit aromas dominated by nutty oak. Middleweight core of cherry, raspberry and strawberry fruits with a noticeable oak overlay. Juicy, with soft tannins, and a dry red-fruited finish. A pleasantly forward wine. Score: 87.
