2010 Nelson Hill Deep End Vineyard Anderson Valley Pinot Noir

13.9% alc., 300 cases, $42. · Moderately light reddish purple color in the glass. Shy initially, but opens nicely over time, offering scents of black cherry and sandalwood. Light to mid weight cherry essence that really pops like a cherry pie out of the oven. Silky in the mouth with balanced tannins and a very tasty and lively cherry-driven finish. Definitely better the following day from a previously opened and re-corked bottle. Score: 90. Reviewed February 8, 2015 WINERY » ARTICLE »
